As the owner of Deep South Entertainment, Dave has not only been a tremendous proponent of the arts, but also brings with him years of experience encouraging and celebrating creativity and diversity. Following in the footsteps of previous Chairman Joyce Kekas, Dave provides a dynamic edge that, when paired with his production experience and attention to detail, will undoubtedly serve the people of Raleigh well. This board oversees the operations of the Convention Center, which includes the Red Hat Amphitheater and the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts. With important work ahead of him, he has accepted the position and plans to step up and carry on the commission's objective to promote aesthetics.

"I'm honored to be able to serve Raleigh and Chair the Commission for what I believe to be one of the best Convention and Performing Arts teams in the nation. The Convention Center and its many arms is such a vital part of our creative and diverse community. I look forward to Raleigh's continued growth as a leader in entertainment, innovation, and the arts." -Dave Rose

Congratulations goes out not only to Dave, but to everyone on this committee for maintaining extraordinary leadership withing the commission - through its current board members alone, one thing could not be more apparent: if you are looking for a city that values cultural beauty in all forms, Raleigh is where you need to be.
